*** Micro Wireless CCTV Cameras With Audio***

Boomer I think you will find that these units are on 1.2GHz and yes it is a legal frequency in the uk ( mobile phones , computer networks etc ) IIRC the camera has a 50mw transmitter and in line of sight applications the pictures are good. Some of these small cameras have an inherant broblem with auto white calibration but to be perfectly honest I cannot comment on the specific ones that Tony has. The cameras are 1/3 inch ccd and the lenses are available from Maplins (about 7 different ones)
Maybe if Tony manages to sell a few hunderd I'll start a group buy on the ICOM R3 scanner which can view them

Good bits of kit these, we shipped a few in from Hong Kong a few months ago and strap them to our remote control planes for air to air footage. Also a hoot to stap them to an r/c car and drive it off down the street while watching it on TV !!!
When Tony is sold out you can get them off ebay too

You are getting sorted
steve_nairm_sti
You will just have to trust me re. picture quality. If it were crap I would not have bought them.
MR_MAJ
Will call you soon.

This unit only accepts one camera, although other variants were available. They are not IP rated so you would have to mount it indoors or in an IP rated enclosure.

I am also tempted (even though i have no money )
Couple of Qs...
How long can the camera last on a single PP3? I already have a battery powered bullet camera which lasts ages, but it uses wire rather than radio.
What radio spectrumy-frequency does it use, and is it legal for the UK. Don't want ambulances falling out of the air do we
Are they IR LEDs on the camera (thus see in the dark). If so, can they be turned off to improve batter life re: Q1??
Oh, and how many units before they run out (or if sensitive, are there many left )
Cheers,
mb

Have not tested actually time, but the one I have been playing with has been on for ages.
Will have to check the exact frequency, but they are legal
There are no IR LED'S on the camera - LUX rating is 3
I still have a couple left at the moment.
Cheers

Hi Tony, just wondering if you're in the camera type of business, do you know where i can get hold of the cameras that download to your pc hard-drive? And roughly how much these cost, thanx
