P1 FOR SALE

Sorry mate but i dont believe for a second a dealer offered you 19k for it. The book price on a 'clean' P1 with 40k on it is 14,800 and a 20k P1 is 15,500. IF your dealer did offer you this bite his hand off. You are not getting 20k for that car from a sensible buyer. I cannot even get 18k for my immaculate 44k mile P1. I will be going for 17ishk and you would be wise to take that 'fabled' 19k.

First things first I see P1's with much more miles than mine going for more than I am asking. I know what you mean though, the market is really dropping on these motors hence why I intend to get a Type R which from what I know is rated by everyone to be just as good as a P1 but much cheaper to get hold of. In the trader there's an X reg going for £21500 with 20k on the clock, 51 reg with over 30k on the clock also for £21500 and a W reg with 25k on the clock going for 22 grand! al private sellers
I'm not bull ****ting at all about what the dealer offered me. Thing is I thought I'd do the clever thing and try to get rid of it provatly first but since I've done that the said dealer (I'm sure you can gues who) is closing down at the end of this month hence why I now can't get that price for it.
So yeah I know I may drop the price abit hence why it'll be in next top marques for 19750. Sorry I don't mean to sound like I'm annoyed but I've had so many time wasters trying to sell this it's untrue. At the end of the day I'll keep it rather than drop my pants on the price!

And why would I lye about what a dealer had offered, I'm trying to sell the car not keep it. I'm just being honest thats all. If I can't sell mine for 19k your hardly gonna get 19k for yours with 45k on the clock are you, and yep mine is immac too.

Hi JayCole
If you're interested in a p/x for a lower spec Subaru as mentioned prev' then I have a W2000 with 35k on the clock. Completely standard with FSSH (last one done yesterday).
Let me know if your interested / how much cash you would want!

A dealer would add VAT right away at 17.5% right off the bat + his cut and then maybe minus a bit if he is making some profit on what you are buying from him.
So for a 19,000 offer to you, his minimum price 22,325 + his cut.
He is not going to get that for your car - do you reckon? Hence my skeptism.
Good luck with the sale

At the end of the day thats what he offered me - I don't know how they go about marking up and all that (and I don't care) - Like I said that IS what I was offered but thats not happening now anyway. Lancaster Pangbourne are trying to sell a P1 with 31,000 miles on the clock for £22995 so I guess they think they would get more than that for mine. Not that I think anyone would pay that let a lone 23k for one with 31,000 miles.
I've had plenty of calls on this car so sure it'll go soon, if not....... i keep it - which suites me. Good luck with the sale of yours. Have you had much interest?
