ITG Panel filter for sale.
Been on my car for just over a year and 8000 miles.
£25 and I'll post it!
Steve
PS My car is a MY01 WRX so it should fit all new age cars and the later classics.

You fit the filter properly and keep the filter clean and lightly coated with filter oil it will look after you and improve your performance and you MAF will be fine.
You botch up putting the filter in, you don't keep the filter clean or you forget to oil the filter every 10K or so miles and you are looking for trouble.
I Ran a UK MY00 on an ITG for 12 months no worries and then a further 9 months on a K&N 57i with no filter or MAF related problems.
Great filter, good luck with the sale mate

Had an ITG in mine for 3 years and 43000 miles with no problems.
As SJ says its got to be properly fitted, and there's a little maintenance, but a sound filter all the same (IMHO of course)

For what it's worth, I have had an ITG panel filter running for more than 30000 miles with no problems at all. Like most things, it is down to the quality of the fitting. If you get it wrong and don't fit the airbox correctly, then you may have problems. ITGs do have an oil/gel filling, but it is pretty heavy and I have only ever found small deposits in the bottom of the air box which is easily cleaned out.
