It has masses of service history, and pretty much every receipt since new.
too much for me to go through anyway.
all electrics are fine. there was a dodgy sticking switch int he drivers side welectric window, but I have cleaned that up and it is fine now.
All the gauges work very well indeed, and oil pressure appears very very good too.

Oh dear ! I offered £1k for this car when it was £1200 but you wouldn't move on price

Hi Mate,
I am after a run about at the moment and love the old 205 gti's. If it is still around on pay day (Friday) I will come and have a butchers with the money.
Is there any rust on it and does it idle ok...plus are the oil seals alright on it...as they are prone to going and make it a right little smoker when motoring

there are a few tiny rust spots to my knowledge around the boot seal area.
Idle is fine if a little high (1000 ish) might benefit from from having the brass idler screw cleaned with a bit of brasso.
oil seals are fine to my knowledge, very good oil pressure and no oil in the exhaust that I have ever seen.
The cra lightning but I don't know why.
Car is not in possession as I have said. ring phil on the number I have given he is the man with the keys!
