Looking for a possible swap/part-ex for a Scooby with my '86 BMW E30 M3. I'm happy to ADD money with my car for the right Scooby!

Details:
Imported from Luxembourg I am the first registered owner in the UK and the date of registration is 02/04/03. The car was manufactured in 1987 and overall has covered 147k kilometres (it still reads in KPH). It has been maintained by the guys at PowerStation in Cheltenham (www.powerstation.org.uk) and has undergone a full engine re-build around 10k kilometres ago and a full gearbox rebuild 2k kilometres ago all carried out by PowerStation. Have just had the car on the dyno at PowerStation on the 13/8/03 and she produced 205bhp and 163lbf-ft of torque. Not bad for a 28 degree day... you can expect to see more power on a cooler day!

Whilst it was being worked on the car has been 'gently' modified with sensible upgrades such as a ported and polished head, a set of Kent cams and an Evo Sport header to name but a few. Also, during the gearbox rebuild the entire rear suspension was dropped off the car and all bushes replaced with Powerflex items, then a set of Whiteline uprated Anti-Roll bars were also fitted. Needless to say this car now handles like a gem when combined with the Bilstein shocks and H&R Springs fitted.

The only fault I feel I must point out is that the Diff is beginning to show signs of it's age. There are occasional times when you notice some backlash with the diff but it is not whining in any way so has many more miles left of good motoring! The bodywork is considerably good given the age of the vehicle with only a couple of rust spots beginning to show through that would be easily sorted. It is clear the car has had a respray in it's time but overall the paintwork is in excellent condition.

Have a read through the spec below, take a look at the pictures and please don't hesitate to call or email me on jon@maxd.co.uk if you have any queries or would like more pictures. The car is located in Cheltenham, Glos.

Full spec and more pics available: www.m3-power.co.uk

Asking Price: £5995ono

Cheers
Jon

Thanks Si, I don't think I've ever had such a photogenic car before... the M3 just seems to 'love' the camera!!

Lovely motor. I wish I could have kept my E30 325i as well as having the scoob. Would have made a great track day toy with a few handling tweaks. Plenty of sideways action!

Free BTTT for a nice BM..
