TSL Firestorm exhaust, only a couple of weeks old.
Will fit classic and new age impreza turbos, plus GX versions of the '01 and '02 (and probably '03).

I love the look of it, but I'm getting old and its just a little too loud for me.

** £205 **

Post on here and I'll check back and contact you - so please provide an email address.

Cheers, Alex

I'm quite interested is it really only 2 weeks old; and is it annoyingly too loud ?

Alex
How about a swop for something a bit quieter? I got a H&S b/box about 6 months old.

I'm afraid a Group N is on order from TSL, so a swap is out of the question.

As for how loud, erm... somewhere between the HKS Hiper and Blitz Nur Spec I think.

My neighbours commented straight away and the security guard asked me if I'd just flown in, he was convinced a plane was landing!

In addition, as the exhaust has only been on the car 1 day (since yesterday), Paul @ TSL has promised he will honour the warranty even under a new owner as the exhaust is so new. (Thanks Paul)

In all seriousness though, the volume of the exhaust is lovely outside the car, the problem I believe is due to the fact I have the 5 door Impreza ('02) and this is why it is quite loud inside the car.

Any interest, I've revised my price to £220 o.n.o, as I think I was a tad optimistic.

Alex, wont TSL take it in exhchange, given the age, and then they can sell as "ex demo"

Just thinking aloud.

Steven,

Paul is being very helpful as is, I see where you are coming from, but it really would be me taking **** if I tried that. I chose the exhaust, and had heard it on the 22b prior to purchase, so I did have prior knowledge of what it sounds like. Its just on a wagon, and at my age , its just not for me.

Plus the group N is arriving this weekend after only asking for it today.

Cheers, Alex

Steven - definitely my age.

Thinking about it, I don't think it is as loud as the hiper, but due to the fact its on a wagon, I think I just hear more inside the car, which I personally don't like.

Trouble is, when listening to someone else driving the car, I love the sound the Firestorm makes.

Hi,

I will take it for the 220, if you have no problem with sending it to Amsterdam, Holland. Shippingcosts are for my expense naturally (I believe 65 pounds). I could pay you trough Paypal. Let me know.

I found the Firestorm too loud at first aswell, so I got a resonator put in my centre section. Much better now

Chuck - don't think it will mate, I believe the pipe length is different. You haven't have you?

I've done some tests since yesterday, definitely not quite as loud as a Hiper outside the car, but then the Firestorm is only the back-box, no centre section. Its just in the (my) wagon, due to the lack of a sealed boot, there is more noise inside the car.

As for shipment abroad, I'd rather not get involved with that, sorry guys, I looked into it before.

I actually quite like it now, but I am still selling to be fair to my neighbours as I do a few early starts.

As said before, I've already ordered the group N (paid etc..) so no swaps etc..

All things considered, I will accept £205 for it, buyer collects (I'm in redhill/reigate area, in Surrey).

Chuck - automatic - ooo suits you sir

Swainy/Steven - I work near junc 8 (Reigate) of the M25, so collection should be easy enough to sort out as you are only half an hour away (ish).. So you happy to take for £205 then? BTW, it will be available around middle of next week, I've got to wait for the Group N to arrive this weekend and get it fitted.
