Now a classic:

1.8 engine with mechanical fuel injection system, works perfect. engine does not smoke either.
5 spd gearbox, works fine but bushes suspected to be worn on gearlever, as it moves around a fair bit.
downsides:
bottom of A-pillars (lower corners of windcreen) rotten on rear side. sills rusty in places. a bit of rust around the edges of some panels, surface not rot. exhaust split. fuel tank just started to drip fuel by the strap. driver seat ripped on one side (by r/h hip area-upper side bolster). one tyre is a cheapy.
good points:
14" BBS alloys in mint condition, all centre caps too.....these wheels are worth a bit!
Three tyres are Pirelli P600 with good tread.
Interior very good condition apart from the seat rip mentioned above.
Panelwork good in general.
Inner wings original......rust free!!!
underside of car solid and rust free too.
Stainless steel fuel filler neck.
Twin front lights.
Chin spoiler and red grille strips present.
Spare gearbox, inlet manifolds, starter motor and few other bits.
£500 worth buying even if just for parts and wheels!
need a diesel now to cover lots of miles, so both my present cars have to go
