Due to imminent brake upgrade, I'm looking to sell my STi7 front Brembos very early September.

Calipers are 18 months old, OEM discs only used from new for 1 year (stored in doors since).

I've got either Pagid RS42-1 or Ferrodo DS2500 pads, both have only seen 6 months use. Happy to sell either or both pad sets.

Offers please for the above package, all in good condition.

Nellie,

You can definitely have them if the Brembo buyer doesn't require them. Personally I think the Pagids are much better than the DS2500s.

I've managed to warp the DBAs, so hence the brake upgrade and also why I'm selling the OE discs with my Brembos as opposed to the DBAs. OE discs still perfectly OK and hardly worn, wish I'd left them on in the first place. It really didn't take much to hurt the DBAs, pretty sure the OE discs are more resilient than the DBAs.

Cheers

Paul, could be interested in these.

Will they fit classics (running on 18's) with no problems?

(I know you've probably been asked that a hundred times!)

Talizman,

I would hope they would fit under 18's. I see from your site, that you've got superleggas. I will do some research to find out for sure, would hate to mess you about

What offset are SuperLeggeras? I thought they were the same as Super T's?

Oh well, if they won't fit, good luck with the sale.

I'm sure you'll get rid no problem.

Thanks Simon I'll keep an eye out for it!

They are pretty big aren't they. I can assure you that they work really well also. I'm definitely not upgrading because there is anything wrong with the Brembo set-up.

All in all with selling the Brembos & picking up some 2nd hand AP 6 pots I will be out of pocket by about the same amount as a set of new 2 piece discs for the Brembos. Well thats what I've told myself anyway, I could easily have put the original discs back for little or no cost. I've always really fancied a set of APs though, so it had to be done!

Cheers

Paul

Simon,

Forgot to say, I'm hoping to pick up my APs tonight now. I've managed to book myself in Xtreme Scoobies @ Boreham Wood tomorrow lunchtime to get them fitted also. Things are moving fast, I'm so impatient when it comes to fitting new bits to the car

So all being well, Brembos available anytime from tomorrow afternoon.

Paul

Too late to buy, but just wondered if these brakes fit under the std WRX 03 17" x7 " wheels ( 5 x double spoke type ) as i got these on my 94 WRX, can't recall offest but thinik it was 48. Sure JGM had same wheels as we discussed it re: wheel nuts!

Is it the STI8 brakes that don't fit under these wheels?

Let us know how they fit / work Simon plz!

Ta

I could be mistaken, thought they were same as mine but could be STi7 ones not just WRX 03 ones.

Anyway, question still stands, will these late model front Brembos fit these wheels ( either type! ).

Guess JGM will let us know with his wheels...
