I have got me an STi V3 engine with everything, including:

Full built block
VF23 rollerball turbo
Intercooler
Alternator
PAS Pump
Aircon pump
Airbox
BRAND NEW NOT FITTED SILICON HOSE SET
PAS pipes
Wiring loom
Coil packs and leads
Fly wheel and clutch
New cambelt
HKS plugs and filter

and proberbly some bits i have missed.

Basicaly the reason for sale is that i originaly got the engine to put in a WRX. I have put it in but there are a few differences, like crank sensor pick ups etc. If i could be bothered i would get around this no troubles, but i have taken a month to do next to bugger all on it and just dont have the time any more. This is a genuine sale, purley cos i am going to be selling the car and want to just put a WRX engine in that i know i can fit in one night.

I may also be interested in doing a swap for a WRX to fit my MY93 if it was to come with all the bits needed (basically whats above).

This could be a good opertunity for a company to make a few quid here.

E-Mail me on jon@meanstreetcruise.com or phone 01255 506513 or 07782 289175

i doubt you will ever find an engine with all these bits for just £1500!!!

Jon what needs doing to fit to a 93 wrx? Got a pretty low mileage engine, brand new clutch, lightened flywheel, recent service, loads of sensors, coilpacks etc replaced with new ones, all old airbox etc boxed. If its not too much hastle and most importantly doesnt cost me a bomb i may be interested in a higher reving engine

If you could gve me some detais, I reckon I have all the bits youd want to sell your car with.

Cheers m8

jon,

before I confirm 100%,

one thing confusing me.

version 3 cars had wasted spark ignition, ie. they had a central coil block with four leads extending to the plugs.

Coil packs suggest coil on plug type arrangement which would make it a version 2 and not a version 3.

which is it?

version 2 also distinguished by having angled intercooler.

it is a V3, it has the wasted spark system, however i was gonna use the WRX loom and the original 4 coil packs.

as i never got around to it i never found out if it would work. i treated it as though it was a normal engine with blueprint internals, if you get what i mean. Its got the top mounteds blue coil pack and leads...

Jon,

thats great.

thought so anyway since it had a vf23 and not a td05.

which means I am confirming.

Can you start to remove it asap please?

Possesion being nine tenths of the law, is 100% not a little bit too large a percentage?
