Looks lovely mate, a great looking car. Reckon you're spot on with the money cause of the extras and the condition. Best of luck with the sale, I would have it today if I had the cash. Will definitely check back for those updated pics, make a nice desktop!

wel i can honestly say that ive never had any problems, but then i spose im bound to say that. i think that the mileage is about the level it should be for the year (is it 12K a year?) but ive never heard of anybody having troubles before on this sort of mileage.. a chap in my office has a three year old sti that has over a hundred thousand miles on the clock now and hes not had a mechanical let down yet.
I dont think this sort of mileage is a problem on modern cars anymore (saying that i dont think its high at all, my wifes car has 160k on it!) and Sonic absoluteley feels fresh out of the box to me, no squeaks, rattles or anything. I spose this has a lot to do with the way its been driven and looked after, with the oil changes and the best possible oil as much as anything, but im sure modern cars, especially japanese ones are good for quite staggering mileages.
Do a search on here, im confident somebody would have asked this kind of thing before. im happy to talk it over with you, or perhaps youd like to come and have a drive and see what you think from there.
best wishes, and thanks for your interest.

hi st33ly, well, as soon as really, but theres really not that much of a hurry cos we managed to get a loan for a new car at a good rate so we can afford to take it easy for a little while at least. if you want to hang on for a bit but would like the car after youd seen it, you could always leave a deposit to keep it and we can work it from there. if you want to talk about it im home all afternoon, but i warn you now, im sulking like a little girl.
thanks Vinnie Mac, its nice of you to give me a recomendation.
best wishes all,
Matt

thanks all, youre very sporting. i know how these bttt's can get out of hand... "sod it" you think, "ill just have one more. i can stop any time i want" and then before you know it, youre living in a box, eat gravy mix and mutterin to your imaginary friend Bobo. At least, thats what happened to me.
its definitley not reddish blue though, have a look at the pics talizman. to me it looks almost exactly the same colour as a P1, not that im an expert on chromotography. plus, theres my tennis ball sized cataracts to deal with. im hoping to get straight-through-free-flowing-de-catted eyes next time.
thanks for the post vicki, though if you could send your mail again cos i dont have it yet. apparently BT are having some troubles...yawn
thanks again all, the boings are much appreciated.

I agree that it doesn't look "Reddish" but AFAIK UK cars NEVER got painted Sonic, except P1's, Terzo's and 22B UK's.....
European imports came in sonic blue, like *SONIC*'s MY00.
All ino gleamed from IWOC and SIDC, but I may be wrong however....

hey, im no expert either Talizman!! all i can tell you is that it isnt an import and it looks like sonic blue to me! beyond that its never been resprayed, and when the sills, mirrors and spoiler were colour coded it was done using the paint code on the lower front wings and the chap at my local dealer identified it to me as 'sonic blue'. how bout we do rock, paper, scissors to decide who's right?!
thanks for the info though matey,
best wishes,
matt.
p.s. vicki, ive still not recieved any mail, please try and send it again if you can. thanks!
