The Car
This car is a rare rose quartz colour and makes a change from all the red 944’s about. The car has covered 108,700 miles and was Porsche serviced up until about 64,000 miles. This car has just been MOT’d (29/8/03). It’s a 1986 model with private plate 830 UKL which is worth a good few hundred quid. The car was registered on the 1st August 1986. I have owned the car for a year and a half and no expense has been spared. It’s always put in the garage and is only used as a second car.
Mechanical
In the last few weeks the car has had all new brake fluid, brake pipes “copper” (all but small one from master cylinder to NSF). All flexi brake pipes (braided). New handbrake pads and cables, new front tyres (Continental) and had new rear tyres about 3000 miles ago. The pads and disks front and back all look like they were replaced not long before I bought the car. I have done about 7K it the car. Timing belt was changed at 72100 miles. It also has a new battery.
Interior
The interior is the nicest I have seen on a 944, It’s cream leatherette and cloth. It has the new shape dash and cream carpets. It has electric seats, mirrors, boot release and sunroof. The sunroof is large and can be removed and placed in the boot or tilted.
Bodywork
The bodywork is in quite good condition for a 17 year old car. The front has stone chips, there is a few bubbles and a few dents and scratches.
The Wheels
I think the alloys are from a 928 as I have not seen them on any other 944’s and look much better than the standard pepper pot ones. As said earlier the front tyres are new and the rear tyres have been used for 3000 miles.
History
I think all the previous MOT’s have been kept as well as loads of receipts and invoices.
Looking for £3250 or swap for another car.
