*** MY99 Impreza Turbo with Tek 2.5 ***
#2
New directions in life mean that its time to sell my scooby I've had a great time with it during my ownership and have had 20,000 miles of fun trouble free motoring. I'd like to sell her as is initially but I will post again if I decide to split
Pictures of my Car
The Car
* T-reg (1999) car in DBM, 4 door
* 53,000 miles
* Full Subaru Service History
* About 6 months Road Tax & MOT
Engine Mods
* Full scoobysport decat (downpipe, resonated mid-pipe & back-box)
* STI V top-mounted intercooler
* Ecutek 2.5 remapped ECU
* Blue Samco hoses
* Forge VTA dump valve
* Dawes manual boost controller
Exterior Modifications & Brakes
* Crystal clear indicator lenses and side repeaters
* Steel braided brakes hoses with Dot 5.1 fluid
* Black Diamond grooved brake disks
* Bumpsteer & Geometry set up by Falkland in Fife
Interior Modifications
* Blitz boost gauge with a-pillar pod
* Momo race gearknob
* Single CD player
* Phenoix Gold uprated front speakers with tweeters fitted in door card
* Custom fit carpet mats with metal kick plate
* Optional talking scooby
In its current form the car would likely make between 260-280bhp depending on the rolling road and conditions on the day. What I do know for a fact is that it will hit 100mph from rest in under 13s and that its P1 quick For insurance purposes the Tek 2.5 isn't easy to trace (just a remap of the oem ecu) the dawes can be removed in 5 minutes if its a problem and the STI V intercooler, hoses and dumpvalve give no gains and as such didn't affect my premium. Basically the exhaust is the only mod that will put the premuim up and most companies are reasonable.
The remap was written and installed by John Banks who's reputation is excellent throughout the UK. The dawes is set to run the same or lower boost than the Tek 2.5 target boost - the reason for having it is the rocksteady boost control and its snappy nature which can give you a nice thump in the back Removing it would make the car a little smoother but if that floats your boat may I suggest www.bmw.co.uk
I have reciepts for all the servicing and work I've had done to the car during my ownership and I also have all the standard parts (intercooler, exhaust, etc) that will be supplied with the vehicle should you wish to detune it or put it back to standard. The car is due a service now which shall be carried out prior to sale. In the event of a quick sale I'll happily cover the cost of the service.
For the whole lot I'm looking for:
£10,750 ono
All reasonable offers will be given consideration I can be contacted via email or by posting below

Just had her out in the 'twisties' today! I can't believe you can buy this sort of performance for the sort of money I'd sell it for!! I had lots of fun and I'd like someone else to have as much fun too

Would like a wee shot - possibly at the weekend if possible. Have been lurking on these forums for a while now as am defo buying a scooby. Have never driven one before but at 6ft 7in and 20 stone, I want to make sure they are comfy enough for me!
The only blot on the landscape, is that me and the missus have just paid a deposit on an a new house build this week and I have a feeling that it will put the Scooby on hold for 6 months. I will discuss with her this week and let you know cos I wouldn't want to waste yer time my friend

If you do split some things, I'm interested in the Smaco's and STI V IC.
I'm in Livingston, so close enough to meet and swap-over bits if needed.
Hopefully, you'll get the whole thing sold and save a little hassle.

Mail me with a price for the TEK.
If It doesn't get through my works firewall B4 12 I'll reply on Monday.

Edited - Price for the Samco's as well please (if they fit a standard MY99 intercooler).
Cheers
