Hi there,
I'm selling the above car, and thought i would try it on here.
It's a Peugeot 306 1.4 XL 3-dr,
Miami Blue in colour (with colour coded bumpers),
135,000 on the clock, but with an absolute stack of bills to support its history. Has recently had a replacement gearbox and clutch.
Power Steering,
4 Months MoT,
Still easily gets 35MPG+ in town driving
Drives very nicely, and has never let me down. Selling due to the purchase of a newer car for higher distance driving.
It started off life as a dealer car, and was then sold to a doctor a few months later. This doctor then owned the car until a few months ago, when I bought it as a town run around to replace my Clio 172.
The can runs very well, as stated. Doesn't smoke or do anything untoward. Certainly doesnt feel like a 135k car! The previous owner used it to drive to Edinburgh from the Borders every day, hence the high mileage. It has a couple of light bumps from parking scrapes, but absolutely nothing structural, and no rust.
Any questions can be directed at my profile email address or in this thread.
Would make someone an ideal town knockabout car.
It is located in Edinburgh.
Cheers,
Chris

Well obviously I can guarantee anything, I'm not a mechanic! But the car drives fine - brakes, steering etc. have no problems. All tyres have a decent amount of tread on them and beyond that I can't see there being too much trouble.

Yes - car is currently still for sale. I have had quite a few interested emails though.
