Exclamation

I've been putting off advertising this, but may as well bite the bullet I suppose.

I am selling my 02 plate STi7 Black Mica, non-Prodrive edition. Reason for sale is that the missus is having a baby and therefore I need to make other investments.

The car is standard apart from these extras:
Xenon driving lamps
High Quality stereo with CD changer, amp and active sub.

26k miles on the clock and full FSSH

The car is booked in to get new brake pads and an oil change. I will also be fitting new Goodyear Eagle F1s prior to sale.

I am looking for £16.5k. Anyone who is interested in this, please email me as per profile. Please do not waste my time as I have a very short temper.

Cheers,

Charlie

No-one queueing up for this veritable bargain?

c'mon, you could buy this *and* have enough money to buy a brand new focus for the missus, for what I paid for it only 14 months ago...

A couple of other points - the car can be veiwed at Stevenage, Herts. It's at least £1,000 cheaper than any similar car. Why? Cos I want to feckin sell it, that's why!

It's a UK car purchased from Quenby's of Baldock. Therefore balance of Subaru warranty applies.

You might get a better response if you didnt scare people off with your bad temper thing and the other sentence about why its cheaper than others, good luck with the sale and it does sound like a bargain!

Cheers S96 - got the cheque fine. Was mildly tempted by your saab 900 but don't really want another turbo motor at the moment.

Taffy - I usually think a bit of straight talking is a good sign. Maybe the potential owners out there are just too sensetive?

I'm gonna see if the dealer will give me anything in the ballpark for it. Trouble is if you aren't buying another car from them they generally try and stiff you.

proper Charlie, I have recently, like last week, sold my uksti7 I advertised on here in Top Marques and auto trader not a single enquiry. In the end I reverted to auction to sell it. Similar colour spec and mileage except mine had prodrive body kit I got £17400 for it at auction which was less than I wanted but it had to go. Since the auction I have found that the car + 1 other was bought by a subaru dealer (Marlborough of Isleworth) they seem to specialise in sti's see their web site. It might be worth you approaching them direct(saves auction fees) I hope this helps. Best of luck with sale and family addition.
John

John - Thanks very much for that info - it does seem that interest in these cars is minimal here. I'll give the dealer you mention a ring.

Everyone else - I'll throw in a Swissol wax kit too! Only used once (6 hours to wash a car - having a f***ing giraffe aren't you? )

Car is going to Quenby's on Monday for new pads and an oil change. I'm gonna ask them if they will take it off my hands.

I've left messages at Marborough of Isleworth but so far no response

How difficult can it be to sell this?

Angry

transpires that the dealer does not have any brakepads, despite the fact that I booked it in *to have the brake pads changed* over 2 weeks ago.
me: so when will you be getting some pads in
dealer: not sure - IM do not have any either
me: so, roughly, when?
dealer: don't know, really. We'll contact you when we have them. In the mean time, it would be best if you didn't use the car that much as the pads are very low.

FFS - would I have booked it in for new pads if the feckin things were brand new? just as well I don't actually *need* the car atm - otherwise I would have been really annoyed...
