To be honest I didn't think I would sell it on here but some feedback from you guys would be helpful. It's on the autotrader website for a fortnight, compared to what I've seen advertised I think I'm in the right price range - what do you think?

Not in a rush to sell, but will have to sell eventually due to the ex wife!!!!

If you want my opinion, theres so many available out there that people are able to pick and chose, maybe yours has too many miles, or maybe they dont want a sunroof - either way, there is plenty of choice out there for prospective buyers

May be worth hi-lighting if this car has always been standard. Lots on here are returned to standard for sale but everybody knows the owners are on the board the month before asking what mod' next for 300 bhp. This is what would put me off getting a car on here to be honest.

Price is fine IMHO so long as bodywork and interior are good.

Thanks boost II, I hadn't thought of that.

Maybe a bit of history is in order - this is my 2nd scoob, I bought this one from Barratts of Canterbury (official Subaru dealer) in Jan 02 as a standard car and it's remained standard whilst in my care.

I'm pretty sure it was a company car from new (but I'd have to check the log book) and therefore pretty unlikely that it has ever been modified.

Had planned to keep the car for about 2 years, wouldn't be selling it wasn't for the financial constraints imposed by a v. messy divorce!!

What wrong with a modded car anyway! I ran about 1.25 bar for a year on a TDO4L and when I recently had the turbo out it was mint. The blades were fine, etc and no sign of excess stress or wear. The car runs fine now that its standard so the only extra wear is on consumables such as the clutch which most people expect to have to pay for at some point anyway.

nothing wrong with modified cars, but I guess from a buying / selling point of view it's nice to know if the car has always been standard - and this one has

Picked up some of the details of the Clio in 'wanted' sounds like a nice car but a few too many miles for me. If you manage to sell it on I'm not far from Ashford if you were still you're interestd in my scoob
