Might be interested in the pc for little bro.
will it take XP or that a stupid Question.
All im looking for is a pc i can link to our network and use to surf the web via BroadBand (and use Kazaa).

A PC of that spec would just about run Windows 2000. Don't try running XP! I ran a beta build on a 266 and, whilst it did install, it would have been too sluggish for real day-to-day use. Run Win2k or 98SE on this.

Yes, 98 is ample for that. Better to run 98SE if you can. Remember to keep the system fully patched and run sensible security (antivirus, personal firewall) and you'll be fine. It'll crash from time to time, but that's Windows 9x for you.

yeah still for sale.. but no monitor. As it was my old pc and its got windows 98SE and runs great. Yeah fine to use as a proxybox or just kazzaa.

Stick a Gig of ram in it and it will run XP no probs - probable defeats the purpose of a cheap machine though - ram would cost more than the computer.
