Was just getting the loan stuff sorted too. Pooo.
Just have to crack on and rebuild mine, then.....

Subaru Legacy Turbo Saloon 4x4
Very late registered, April 1996 N-reg (rare for legacy turbo!) but is still the classic shape ie 1994 type.
UK model, not an import.
Silver bodywork in excellent condition throughout, all panels straight - dent/scratch free.
Interior is unmarked, as new.
Now covered 82,000 Miles, had done 60,000 when I bought it Nov 01, and my milage (21,000) has been covered on motorways mainly (75/80mph not 120 lol)
It is taxed til end Oct this year, and Mot’d until February 2004.
It has a service History until 60000miles, with all following work done myself (yes I do know what im doing).
Oil changed every 3000 miles maximum, using Mobil 1 Motorsport 15w50 Oil, and genuine subaru oil filter.
Gearbox:
Close ratio short geared box.
Low geared diffs (4.1:1)
Quickshift. (Cost £60)
Gearbox and Diffs done about 25000miles total now. (Cost £600).
Clutch:
AP Organic, smooth as standard clutch, but with 450 Lb/Ft rating. Fitted about 6000miles ago with new genuine subaru release bearing. (Cost £450).
Engine:
EJ20 Turbo.
Closed Deck Block. (worth hundreds!)
0.5mm overbore. (Rebore cost £120)
Cosworth Forged Pistons. (Cost £750)
Genuine Subaru Piston Rings. (Cost £125)
Lightened + Balanced Flywheel. (Cost £100 for work).
Fully Ported Heads. (Porting work labour worth £450 at least)
Sti v4 3-layer Steel Headgaskets. Sti Engine Gasket Kit. (Cost £250)
Genuine Subaru New Mains + Big End Bearings. (Cost £100+)
Ported Exhaust Manifolds. (Porting work labour worth £50+)
Inlet Manifold Insulator Spacers. (Cost £50)
Chargecooler.
Pipercross Induction Filter. (From WRC Focus, cost me £60). Mongoose 3" Full Decat System with 4" Tailpipe. (Cost almost £500).
The engine has now covered about 6000miles following the above rebuild.
Running only 1 Bar boost now on an IHI vf12 turbo (slightly bigger than TD04 size).
Really quick car, virtually no turbo lag, great power potential.
Also, the car does not have the typical legacy noisy tappets, they are silent.
Standard Legacy Turbo Gold Alloys in mint condition - no marks whatsoever!
Brand New Uniroyal Tyres 205/60 x 15 (Cost £250).
Security wise, the car is fitted with a Thatcham Approved Category 1 Alarm/Dual Immobilisers.
Sony headunit, with a 10 disc cd changer in the boot. (Cost £150).
Standard Electrics:
4 electric windows
Electric aerial
Electric tilt/slide sunroof - Doesnt leak unlike some!
Both mirrors are elctrically heated/adjustable.
Remote boot/fuel cap lever.
Height adjustable drivers seat.
Height adjustable steering wheel.
Momo leather steering wheel and handbrake/gearknob as standard.
I have owned this Since November 2001.
So there you go, look at the parts costs above, not including the closed deck block value, and all the labour costs for porting work and engine rebuild, gearbox/diff swaps etc total approx £4200 spent by myself.
Therefore, including the original purchase, and the labour etc, the car has cost me circa £10,000
I am asking £3500 which i think is a bargain to somebody considering the above mentioned money spent, whoever buys this for this price will be very pleased!
If interested, please mail me at defiantmitzy@aol.com
Thanks
Ian

if somebody came to look at it, im sure they would just buy it, but no ones looked at it lol.
problem with this car is the looks, its so understated and most people want something that looks more sporty.
ive seen a G-reg rs turbo escort on here with 102K miles for £3750, i mean what the hell lol
its an xr3i (all need blowing up-if they havent done yet) with a pair of recaros and a T3 bolted on!
makes me p iss

I've owned 14 4x4 road cars in the last 16 years and the Legacy Turbo is STILL in my top 3.
A brilliant, understated and solid performer. Wish I had the money to run 2 cars ! Anyone after a ropey £5000 Impreza could do ten times better by buying this instead and putting some cash in the bank.
