Cool

New directions in life mean that its time to sell my scooby I've had a great time with it during my ownership and have had 20,000 miles of fun trouble free motoring.

Pictures of my Car

The Car

* T-reg (1999) car in DBM, 4 door
* 54,000 miles
* Full Subaru Service History & recently serviced
* About 6 months Road Tax & MOT

Alterations

* Crystal clear indicator lenses and side repeaters
* Steel braided brakes hoses with Dot 5.1 fluid
* Black Diamond grooved brake disks
* Bumpsteer & Geometry set up by Falkland in Fife
* Blitz boost gauge with a-pillar pod
* Momo race gearknob
* Single CD player
* Phenoix Gold uprated front speakers with tweeters fitted in door card
* Custom fit carpet mats with metal kick plate

You'll note that none of the mods affect insurance and that there are no engine mods. The car used to run a full decat (very safe MY99 mod) but this has been sold already.

I have reciepts for all the servicing and work I've had done to the car during my ownership.

£8,950 ono

All reasonable offers will be given consideration I can be contacted via email or by posting below

What area are you in? I'm going to be looking for something just like this but not until around the new year time unfortunately!

If you still have the car around Christmas time then give me a shout. Otherwise depending on how open to offers you are I may be able to sort something out beforehand if the insurance company will allow it (waiting for the year to end for no claims touch wood).

The price does sound a little high though compared to others. Have you been on autotrader or similar to compare it.

MY99/00s tend to be advertised between £9,500-10,000 with the occasional example above and below that. You'll note in autotrader some peeps still wanting £11k+ for such car (doubt they'll be getting calls). I'm very open to offers on the price - every day I keep the car it costs me way more than the oil burning run around I'll replace it with. Feel free to make an offer

I'm in Edinburgh

Angry

Sorry,

Checked with the insurance company and the company I'm with won't quote me a change of car cos of the group. I can't finish the policy early cos I need the no claims.

Have already got a great quote from Tesco for a new policy though so send me an E-mail (biggles_1@hotmail.com) and I'll save your address. I'll mail you in December and if you do still have it maybe sort something out.

I'm in Hampshire though so it'll be a bit of a treck!

Good luck with selling it. It looks like a nice car.

I've had a 'subject to seeing it' offer of £8500 for the car. I'm reluctant to go this low but I probably will unless I see some strong interest soon. Anyone?

Unhappy

Serious interest but as I said not until mid-late December I'm afraid.

Sorry. I can't do any better than that! Damn insurance companies!

Hope you get the car sold mate. I would have bought it had I not seen a Silver MY99 with 23k for 9400 (which I bought). I wanted a blue one but never saw one when I was looking.

Dont take this the wrong way, but it worries me when I see someone else with the same car, struggling to sell it for less than I paid for mine. I was hoping to get 8500 for mine next year when I will sell it with around 35k on the clock....

Again good luck mate.
