The RA variant was designed for group N rallying.
And supports many race Specification parts

The RA models were also far lighter than their WRX and Impreza counterparts.
The car on this web site weights 1180 KG ,thats around 110 Kg lighter than a normal WRX.
The engine also differs signicantley from normal WRXs
U.k Subarus have 208 BHP, standard Jap spec WRXs have 240 BHP.
The Type RAs in standard form however have around 260 BHP

So its total is around 290 BHP

This car was timed at Trax 2003 and achieved a 0-60 time of 4.9 seconds.
With a better start I am sure it would do the 0-60 in the claimed 4.5 seconds.
