And the benefits we might see by fitting this in place of the small black diagonal WRX IC ?
How does it fit with the scoop rubbers etc?

Hi Alan
As mine's a WRX - Jap import with the little black IC on the diagonal fixing, wondered how well it was cooled by the air in from scoop, and what was needed to make it work well?
Currently lines up perfectly with little rubber edges to seal the air, and a good flow over the turbo thru the turbo heat shield that meets the scoop ( i.e. in built air splitter! ) .
The Pic above shows an STi strut brace - these still fit then? I have an OMP thicker adjustable one ... not much clearance there!
Pretty interested tho ... we can talk price / postage later...!

This is defo a worth while mod, i have just done this on my 93 WRX Import and it makes a big diffrence...
The sound is great and i am now boosting about 14.5psi with just the IC/ full downpipe back system, and filter...Knocklink soon to come don't worry...!!!
Bit of a bitch to get on but well worth it...
