N2 (showroom to 1400-1600cc)
Build:
Initially professionally prepared by Peter Gladstone & Richard Bedford at CAT MotorSport in March 1999 to International Specification. Car was then used by Iain Henderson to win the N2 category of the 1999 Safety Devices Macadam championship plus 1999 Catalunya round of WRC.
Chassis later retuned by Marcus Bond at Shalco Motorsport to Peugeot Sport UK 106 Cup specifications.
Won 2000 Tour of Cornwall N2 category, 2nd in class 2002 Somerset Stages.
Body:
Citroen Saxo, 3 door hatchback. Welded in OMP multi-point roll cage, seam welded and lightened. Alloy sump and fuel tank guards. Front mudflaps for gravel.

Kingdragon, OMP, Willans , Terratrip
Engine:
TU5J4 family Transverse 4-cylinder in-line, 16 valves, 1596cc producing approx. 120 bhp (at wheels) @ 6500 rpm. 78.5 x 82.0 bore x stroke, 10.8:1 compression, 4 x ignition coils. Blue printed by James Polanski, rolling road optimised cam timing and DTA engine management system. Pipercross foam air filter. Magnex competition stainless steel exhaust system.
Lubricants:
Castrol RS fully synthetic engine oil 5W40 and Synthetic Castrol MTX Gear Oil
Transmission:
Front wheel drive, 5-speed gearbox, AP racing clutch.
Weight:
890kg in gravel trim, 882kg (homologated min) in tarmac trim
Suspension:
Front: Peugeot Sport Bilstein adjustable front struts, lower wishbones. Front anti-roll bar.
Rear: Peugeot Bilstein rear shock absorbers, trailing arms. 19mm anti-rollbar gravel, 21 mm anti roll bar tarmac.
Brakes:
General: Servo assisted, aeroquipped throughout with cockpit adjustable bias valve.
Front: 2 piston calipers, Mintex 1155 pads, vented discs
Rear: 2 piston calipers, Mintex 1155 pads. solid discs
Wheels: 14" x 6" Alloy (15"x6" option homologated for Tarmac)
Tyres: Dunlop / Yokohama
Lighting: Additional bonnet mounted 4 lamp pod
