Time to sell my beloved CTR (upgrading to a P1)
May 2002, black, air con, supaguard paint/ interior protection.
22k miles with fsh (+ oil service at 6k and 18k miles) - well cared for.
UK supplied and bought new by myself so 1 owner.
Standard with the exception of upgraded brake pads (Ferodo DS2500) and Pipercross Viper induction kit (still have original part). These are sensible upgrades.
The car is mint as it was always well looked after and extra care taken when parking, etc.
Looking for £12.5k (no part exchanges)
Please drop me a PM or email me at terry@acknowledge.uk.com if you are seriously interested. The car is in the Portsmouth area and viewing can be arranged.

Thanks
Terry

Come on you scooby owners.... You know it makes sense!!!!
Faster than a WRX 7 or 8 and better handling too (on smooth roads at least).

Come on folks....
With a car like this not only do you get great performance and handling but it also gives you great economy and reasonable insurance. Also servicing every 12 months or 12k miles.
That's gotta be worth something....

We're all entitled to our own opinion and IMHO the CTR handles better then a WRX 7/ 8 on a smooth road....there's no noticeable body roll like you get in a WRX and therefore you have the confidence to take bends quicker....try one and you'll see what I mean. On the flip side if it's bumpy then the hard ride makes it edgy and hence wouldn't keep up with the WRX.
As for being faster - check out the 0-100 times and again driving it feels quicker - more manic in the VTEC zone...
Anyway BTTT

I've owned and driven both, they're very different cars. Civic has brilliant brakes, blends in around town, and offers a considerably cheaper weekly fuel tab. Scooby is more expensive but definately feels quicker all round. Scooby does offer more control around the twisties cause the Civic's steering is just too light. They're both fantastic cars, for very different reasons, it's down to personal preference. Good luck with the sale mate. BTTT
