98 Forester S/TB - £6,500

Ok peeps, it time to pass on my beloved Forester S/TB as I am getting a Cayenne S to go with the 996.
The spec is a Black 1998 (R) Jap Import Forester S/TB with 58,000 miles on the car. It has a full Forester STI body Kit on it.
It has been serviced and maintained as all my Scoobies have been, by ScoobySport. Like all MY98 Turbo Engines, it had the common Piston Slap when we got it so it's had a new piston fitted by ScoobySport 12 months ago and the engine is a dream!.
It has tax and MOT and I have added MY01 WRX front seats and the originals are also still with me. I also fitted a WRX STI 20ml anti-roll bar, so it handles like an Impreza Turbo or WRX. I also fitted a Kenwood Stereo with a CD player and fitted new grooved discs and pagid pads (certainly stops car plus 1.5 tonnes of trailer, rally car and tools OK!!)It also has a tow bar fitted by me.
As a daily car, it has been fantastic!!!! I have done a whole seasons rallying and it pulled trailer, rally car, 10 spare wheels, fuel, all the tools and 4 people over the country with amazing comfort, safety and speed. I still remeber the Golf GTI drivers' face when when we out dragged him on a slip road with trailer and everything!!!!! It is really that fast with approx 250 bhp on tap and, with a slightly smaller turbo, there is a lot more torque available low-down so is really punchy in 5th gear on motorways.
It is the ultimate Q-Car as no one expects it to perform on the roads like it does!!!
As a Forester is virtually mechanically identical to an Impreza, any Inmpreza parts will fit, like Scooby Sport exhaust systems etc.
I bought it for nearly £9K a year ago, so £6K seems fair.
