The TEK 1 was (is?) a map design to give a modest performance increase to standard cars (or in conjunction with, say, a back-box/air filter mod) particulary over the AE802 ecu. I believe it is essentially an optimised version of the AE800/1 maps. There is a pretty good explanation of the differences and a graph of expected power increase on the EECUTEK site http://www.ecutek.com/tuning/oemcompare/.
