Due to me starting to restore my STi7 back to near standard trim in preparation for sale early next year, I am offering my SECS unit for sale.
The SECS unit is the one for the New Age Imprezas and comes with the pod to mount in on the top part of the dashboard.
The unit is 3 months old and is the newest version, which includes:
+ software option for oil pressure/temperature
+ new style clear LCD screen that remains clear when the weather gets warm, unlike the earlier screens
+ new version front fascia that doesn't degrade, unlike the older ones
Its got a black facia and grey buttons.
I am looking for £315 ono for this great bit of kit.

jabbroni,
Really easy to fit. I fitted it myself in about 15-20 minutes.
Also the unit is compatible with any post '01 Scooby even those with EcuTek (which your PPP is).
Cheers

Pretty sure there are instructions in the manual. But I never even looked at them.
Clock comes out of dash by sliding it horizontally towards you quite firmly, the pod goes in the opposite way to the way the clock pod comes out.
The unit does plug into the select monitor under the dash, to run the cable/plug, you just need to pull a few of the dashboard fittings off (not as bad as it sounds, they mostly all clip off & on), then feed the cable/plug through to the select monitor socket & plug it in. Then just secure the loose cable with cable ties.
The only annoying thing that you must also do, is relocate the flashing LED from the clock housing to a point on the plastic trim immediately to the right of the cup holder. Apparently you need this in place for the alarm or central locking (one of the 2?) to work properly. Cable is usually long enough though.
Hope this helps explain how straight forward it is, plus I'm not normally one who jumps at the chance of pulling car dashboards apart.
Cheers
