My last attempt to sell on here.

Before anyone asks here are a couple of guidelines.

1) NO part exchanges!
2) If you don't have the money NOW don't call.
3) If you have another car you have to sell first then sell it first.
4) No cash = no drive.
5) The price advertised is the price I would ideally like to get.
6) There are bound to be cheaper ones out there but they are probably cheaper for a reason.
7) No I will not offer a discounted rate because you are a nice fellow ScoobyNet member. I was actually hoping you'd offer me more since I am a nice fellow ScoobyNet member.

The car itself.

MY97 UK Impreza Turbo.
Silver metallic.
76k Miles (service done at 75k miles - oil / filter and plugs).
Full service history.
10 months MOT (brake pads replaced at last one).
Cat1 alarm & Immobiliser.
Tracker.
Air-Conditioning.
17" P1 Anthracite Alloys.
Subaru 4 Pot brakes & EBC pads & discs (off a later model).
Eibach Springs.
Bump steer mod & Geometry by Power Station.
Unichip & EVC 4 fitted & configured at Power Station.
Scorpion decat downpipe and rear box (standard cat centre for MOT emissions).
Forge Dumpvalve.
Boost gauge.
Sony in-dash CD player.
Subaru plate included with the car.
HP when conservatively tuned was at 246 bhp with the more important figure of torque at 232 lbf-ft.

The car can be viewed in South London.

Other / specific photos available on request.

This is a brilliant example that has been set-up very well.

Email for any other details.

Offers in the region of £7,000.

Cool

Well, I do hope you sell it quick, however you would stand more chance if you were nice to you potential buyers and not having a go at those who might be interested by going through your important "terms and conditions" list first. Very off-putting. Whatever you do don't change your career, 'cause you would't make a good salesman.

Since you have 9 posts under your belt I'll let you off.

Anyone who could possibley take offence to the guidelines is not a potential buyer so job done.

If you'd cared to look I've already advertised in what you might call a nice manner. It just doesn't work.

You're not a buyer so I really couldn't give a toss. It is because of people like you that I have put the guidelines down.

Thanks anyway.

I will endeavour to return the favour on all of your future threads.

Here are some more 'terms and conditions'. They are ScoobyNets.

All posts and threads within the "FOR SALE" forum must only contain information pertaining to the advertising of goods, or the request for information about such goods. Replies to adverts complaining / questioning the price or quality of the goods are harmful and often misleading and are therefore not allowed. For this reason, "buyer beware" is also an important consideration.

5) The price advertised is the price I would ideally like to get.
What is the price advertised?
Apologies if you don't want it on this thread (thought maybe you'd forgot though). And you do say 'the price advertised' above

And good luck - this isn't the best place to sell, but I haven't found the autotrader much better - it's the wrong time of year to sell, unfortunately. I have ended up deciding to keep mine

I did actually buy my current car from a scoobynetter, advertised here - it just takes one person. And yours looks pretty good. Hope you don't mind me replying (or will I get berated?)

Cheers Sulli.

I was hoping for somewhere in the region of £7,000.

Sure is the wrong time of year. I bought a Scalextic set yesterday so that will have to do for the new car until after Christmas.

It's a good price for a well specced car, and worth every penny of 7k.
However, as I said, the market seems a bit slow at the moment - why not keep it, you know you want to

BYGIIIY - how do you make that out?

Since when did a standard UK Turbo have:
Tracker.
Air-Conditioning.
17" P1 Anthracite Alloys.
Subaru 4 Pot brakes & EBC pads & discs (off a later model).
Eibach Springs.
Bump steer mod & Geometry by Power Station.
Unichip & EVC 4 fitted & configured at Power Station.
Scorpion decat downpipe and rear box (standard cat centre for MOT emissions).
Forge Dumpvalve.
Boost gauge.
Sony in-dash CD player.

It's worth every penny of 7k in my humble opinion.

Exclamation

BYGIIIY's contirbutions to threads if anyone is in doubt. Bare in mind this is a user with 145 posts under his belt.

http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/threa...=263810&Page=2

another 2k you can buy a P1, your car is worth 10k mate!!!!!!!!!!
BYGIIIY dont be an @ss hole!
http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/threa...=220376&Page=2

iv seen y plate p1s with less miles on for less money than yours.
http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/threa...=264612&Page=1

For a car of lower spec than this quoted at £1,500 higher in value but a different colour. Does blue command the £3,500 premium you suggest?

green is the crappest colour in cars especially subarus, reddish blue and sonic blue are the best colours, remember that!!!!!!
green is the worse colour is subs, thats it!!!!!
mind you ive seen a few green subs around with gold wheels and they look very nice,
make your mind up.

i dont want to start making a big issue about colours, the lad wants to sell his car so give him a decent offer for a nice coloured sub, cheers
Excellent advice.

now there was no need to bring all that up!! everyone have there own opiniuns, you wont get any decent response from this site, they are all dreamers, well most of them, just advertise in your local magazine or the autotrader. it only takes one person to buy mate, i bought the P1 from here that JIMBOB was selling you probably remember the X reg one with 60k with 18"upraded alloys and brakes etc,i paid £14300 for the car at the end as JIMBOB was sick of timewasters on this site(as he told me) , which i spent another £600 on getting the extended warranty done and a bit of paintwork, and wheels refurbished, cheers

Especially now I'm considering a discount for a serious cash buyer. We'll see. Maybe after Christmas. Have it in the AutoTrader and on PistonHeads now. Fingers crossed.

BTT for you m8...Hope u sell 7K is a bargain in my opinion if it's as good as you say...I paid an extra 2 k for mine with more miles and very similar mods the only difference being the colour but silver is cool anyway.
Just wish I'd waited about the extra week!

Good luck
