Yes, due to timewasters unfortunately.
Reason for sale is genuine (pregnant wife, not much room for baby seat!), and it is a totally genuine and looked after car.
Having looked on the autotrader, 1998 106 gtis are going for between £4.5k and £6k.
Considering this is the best colour, is nicely and sensibly modified, but can also easily be put back to standard as i'm including most of original bits in sale, I think it's a bargain(plus the fact we've just put four brand new Uniroyal Rainsports on it, and the Clifford alarm/immobiliser, not long back).
We are losing a fair bit on it, but it really can't be kept, much to the missus's disappointment, as she really loves the car.
I am happy to answer any questions on the car, and have full history/receipts etc.
Genuine enquiries only please to sulli@ntlworld.com
I am prepared to consider very close offers, but may remove either ICE, or not sell with original bits, or swap them back, depending on the deal.

Used to work for Perrys Peugeot, and when ever a GTi came in for a Service, i would be out on Test Drive for ages, I found some GTI's really quick and others not so quick. Had my heart set on one, then got a better paid job so sank for Scoob instead. Would still like one though. All the best with sale!

Cheers mate.
I drove a few when we were looking for this one, and it does seem to be quick - and the rolling road report hopefully bears that out. Wicked fun to drive too - like a go-kart
