Question

I've just replaced my OEM MY00 alloys with some 17" OZ P1 alloys in anthracite . The OEM alloys are fitted with 205/50/16 Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD2's with a good few mm's of tread left. All four alloys have been kerbed as a result of parallel parking, but they still scrub up nicely and look pretty good.

Should I:

a) Keep them
b) Sell the tyres and keep the alloys
c) Sell the whole lot

Has anybody actually sold some UK MY00 OEM alloys and, if so, what should I be looking for price wise?

Apologies for all the questions!

Mark.

I bought some for £150 last year with a reasonable amount of tread on them if that helps?

Thumbs up

Thanks mate.

If I found they were worth <£100 I would just keep them. I would say the tyres have a good 5,000-10,000 miles left in them...

keep them and put winter tyres on them...that's what I did.
That way you can keep your nice, new wheels safe from winter salt, road dirt etc..

Talking

I'm not sure I could go back to the OEM MY00 alloys. The OZ P1's are just too cool!

Are these for sale?
I have a March 00 Uk turbo with one badly pot holed damaged 16" six spoke wheel that needs replacing because it will not balance properly.
I am going to check the price of purchasing a single wheel...but reckon it will be expensive! Buying four used ones may be my only option.

Exclamation

pappasmurf,

I hadn't really thought about selling them one at a time! Find out how much a new one is and post it up here. I may be able to sell you one.

A couple of questions - What tyres are you running and are your existing alloys kerbed?

Mark.
