I had one that looked exactly the same as that apart from the vent cause it was a normal ST185 and i sold that for £2200 on a H plate.
Do you really think that it is worth £4000 more than a normal one??
They are rare but are they that desirable??

Do your homework COZ777. You will not pay any less than 4K for a Carlos Sainz. And pay anywhere from 4K - 7K. Pending on history, mileage and condition. The Carlos Sainz is a totally different car from the ST185. Different intercooler (Chargecooler, 20% uprated breaks all round. Different bonnet,, bumper, engine management system, etc, etc. This car has only 74K miles which is vary rare and low with FSH to back it up. Also the insurance on a carlos sainz is a lot cheaper than a ST185.
+ the car has has over 1K spent on new MO alloys, and Toyo's. £250 on gauges and POD, £ £ 600 on Stainless Zorst and Decat. £250 on boost Controller, £ 200 on Kenwood MD player(New), £250 on full service at Toyota Last month, £150 on Bailey DV. All of which are less than 3 months old. You never get back the extra's. But I could strip the extra's and sell them for ovr 1K alone second hand.
Price is always subjective. But you would be hard pushed to find any other car, that will keep up with an STI, in superb condition, with low miles, 4 wheel drive, superb build quality, cheap to insure, and very exclusive for 6K. Which at the end of the day after a bit of haggling will probably end up at 5.5K.
Yes you could buy a high mileage normal ST185 for 2.2K, with dubvious history, and no performance bit. But then thats like comparing a ford focus with an RS focus.

0-60 in standard form is a mere 6.2sec 205bhp and top 140. However with boost controller, it illiminates the ECU telling the car to limit boost to 7psi in first and second, and can now run 17psi held in all gears which is the upper limit of recomendations. 17psi in all gears from a stock 7psi 1st,2nd / 9psi 3rd,4th ,5th, means Yahoooooo and under 5 secs at a guess but duno exactly. Top 140 but get there much quicker. Car has not been put on rollers but GT4's running similar spec to mine are seeing close to the 300bhp. I would guess about 270-280bhp. This is not pub talk BHP either. I have owned lots of top machinery including a tunned EVO5. And this car don't feel much slower than my EVO5 when it was stock. I would say its similar to an STI Scooby.
All in all a bit of a wolf in sheeps clothing, and not bad for a 12 year old motor, and cheap for the peformance. Anyone wana buy it.
