MY00 4 Door Impreza Turbo
#1
Edited Now with added piccies below (interior on page 2).. hopefully!
After I've cleaned it and took some piccies this weekend I'm about to reluctantly put my Sept 2000 X plate Dark Blue Mica 4 door turbo up for sale at £10,800 o.n.o. on Autotrader (my ever growing family means I've got a big sensible diesel Merc estate on order for 1st March delivery). I'm looking to get £10K minimum for the Scooby really.
It's done 40K, with full Subaru main dealer service history. It's never been raced (I drive like a girl!) and has always been run on SUL/Optimax. It's an EU personal import (by me) but is totally standard UK spec, with Cat 1 alarm/immobiliser, aircon, quickshift gearbox, body coloured skirts, side-protection strips, Blaupunkt stereo / 10 disk changer, boot liner. Taxed and MOT'd up to September, just had new break pads. Email me at greg.dickinson@lexisnexis.co.uk if you're interested.
I'll put some piccies up ASAP.

Thats too cheap mate!! Got over £13k for mine 2 months ago, X-plate, 23k miles, Jan 2001, totally standard UK car.
Yours looks like a top classic unmodded example......hold out for the right price!

Thanks Chaps..I was in a dilemma over what to ask for it. I feel it may be worth more but you don't want to put people off. Selling on Scoobynet as a first option will hopefully get me a buyer without spending on advertising etc (and more chance of a good home for my precious Scoob!).
It seems a buyers market on this site so I thought better to be upfront about the barest minimum I'm willing to take.
I'm not in a huge rush to sell as it'll leave us with one car until the new one arrives...but come on folks, roll up.. I could maybe do with exercise of walking to the station for a few months

Keep it for 4 months and i'll be in the position to buy this car.
How does the EU import affect servicing and insurance?
BTTT for you

Cheers Ray, I'll bare that in mind, although I hope to have shifted it by then at this price. The fact that it's an EU import has made no difference whatsoever to insurance or servicing (other than having to pay for my own oil at the 1000 mile service). It's identical to a UK car.

For EU Imports they should quote exactly the same rates as it's one of the standard models they have listed on their quoting systems. Insurance-wise, Liverpool Victoria were easily the best for me this year (though I'm a bit older than you!). I think the Classics are a slightly lower insurance group than the bugeyes/MY03, which is worth bearing in mind.

Yep, my ad went live on Autotrader's site yesterday though so I'm expecting a few calls this week hopefully. Let me know if you've got any questions / want to arrange to see it.

will do. I need to take some Interior ones though as I only gave the interior a proper clean on Sunday. It's mint inside though..We're non-smokers and have a little 'un who is too young to make a mess inside!
