Omega F300Hz stainless steel watch for sale.
The watch is approximately 35 years old now and becoming very rare.
It has a mechanism, which works from a tuning fork, which resonates, at 300Hz.
The watch is a certified chronometer, which basically means the mechanism was tested for 14 days at various temperatures and angles and had to maintain an accuracy of better than 4 seconds a day.
This is the most accurate watch certification awarded.
I purchased the watch from a collector’s fair and have now owned the watch for about 6 years.
I had it fully serviced and checked when I bought it by a friend in the trade.
The watch is 100% original and still has the original face, crown and stainless steel strap.
It is in excellent condition.
It has a smooth sweeping second hand and a date function.
Reason for sale is I have now purchased a new Omega Seamaster watch, and while I am tempted to keep it I feel it should be worn and used regularly.
Omega are recognised as one of the top watch manufactures in the world.
I would like to get £175 + P & P for the watch and suspect it will probably go up in value as they become scarce.
Pictures available upon request.
Graham.

Very accurate watch using a tuning fork mechanism powered by a battery(maxell SR1130W). No balance wheel and hairspring, so no pivots or bearings to worry about(oiling is not required). The tuning fork mechanism was borrowed under licence from Bulova. Some times known as the 'Accutron' movement.
Good luck on the sale and free BTTT.![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
