AE800 ECU for sale.
Was originally fitted to a UK MY99 RB5.
£125 + P & P.

Ideal if you have a TEK 2 or 3 and want to put the car back to standard.

Also a top upgrade for MY00 owners with the standard AE802 ECU. Fitted one on mine and it made a big difference.

Good price

Cheers,

Ian.

Hi Graham

YHM copied here also.

The ECU you have for sale, am i right in assuming that it is a 1999 RB5 ECU, and that it will plug straight into a 1999 standard Turbo?

If so very interested

Just to clarify,

This is as far as I know a standard ecu for a MY99.
I'm not sure if it is any better / different to an AE802.

I need to find out what is under my floor, if I have an 800/801 then no point in changing. If I have 802, then this may be a good upgrade. problem is I cannot get to find out till weekend.

Just to help out, MY99 cars had AE800 or AE801 ECU. MY00 cars had AE802 ECU.

More info comparing ECUs can be found here:- http://www.ecutek.com/tuning/oemcompare/

How much commission do I get Graham

Cheers,

Ian.

Wink

The AE800 is apparently the best ECU for the MY99 / MY00. The AE801 being slightly worse and the AE802 causing a car to hesitate like f**k. It's a very very good price IMHO

Does it look much different to my normal MY00 ECU (insurance etc)? I'm doing some extra work over the next week so I might have some cash if its still available next week..

Andy,

Yes they look the same, just have a different ident label on them.
Shouldn't be a problem for insurance as the AE800 /AE801 and AE802 are all interchangable with MY99/MY00.
Simply AE800 regarded as a better map.

Graham.

I have a ppp ecu fitted to the car now, hence the AE800 for sale.

My ppp ecu looks the same but has prodrive markings and a pink STi sticker.

The Pro-drive ECU circuit board will fit in a normal ECU case
