They dont have any damage to the struts, springs or threads etc, all is in perfect working order

325/225 springs front and rear.

Hi Scoty. Maybe still interested.
Been told they need rebuilding cause of their age? They rattle or something? What is that about?
Has this been done?

Nah they dont need rebuilding!!!
They are in excellent condition, they are a bit noisier than standard struts, but I think this is the case for most coilover kits

OT - How did you find the spring rates?
Would you get the same rate again or would you go a bit softer?

Dave I would say they were perfect, with the rebound settings set to about 14 on the front and 12 on the rear, it's hard to beat I would IMHO.
