Exclamation

Okay straight to business. Still not sure I want to sell it but it makes sense to scale back for a few months and come back with a bang.

I am looking for £19k including one of the best Subaru numberplates: S600BES

-------------------

52 plate (Nov 2002) with FSSH, booked for 20k service next week
Run-in, warmed and cooled meticulously on Castrol RS synthetic
Spotless paintwork and interior, always Swissol Teflon waxed

I have spent 12 months and over £15k modifying this car to what I believe is the perfect balance between performance, comfort and reliability. Absolutely no expense has been spared, and the engine tuning in particular is over-engineered, with a very safe map and all of the necessary support modifications in place for a power output well above and beyond the current level of tune. Were the current 290/290 not enough for you, you literally just need to bolt on a bigger turbo and injectors to see in excess of 350BHP.

Modifications are as follows:

Engine

APS intercooler
NGK PFR7 Platinum plugs
Uprated fuel pump
Fuel pressure regulator @ 3 bar
Grp N Filter
TEK 3 map 1.3bar (TD04)
Approx 290 / 290

Exhaust

OBX Equal length headers
OBX flexible up pipe
TSL Grp. A down pipe
All fully wrapped with rally-spec exhaust wrap
TSL Grp. N centre
TSL Grp. N rear 4"

Transmission

Quick Shift w/ synthetic race oil
Alloy ****

Suspension

Eibach springs
TSL Geometry
Whiteline adjustable rear antiroll bar
Powerflex rear drop links
Upper front STi strut brace
Upper rear STi strut brace
STi quick steering rack 13:1 (2.2 turns)

Brakes

Prodrive Alcon 4 pot front callipers
330mm grooved discs
2500 pads
Braided hosing / Dot 4 fluid

Wheels

17in Team Dynamics Pro Race One FIA 7kg
Toyo Proxes with lots of tread

Body

Prodrive UK300 lip
Prodrive grille spoiler
STi fog lamp covers
Morrette headlamps w/ Xenon bulbs
Adjustable STi rear carbon spoiler
STi mudflaps
STi bonnet scoop
APS air splitter
Debadged
Smoked indicators
Carbon reflectors
Colour coded skirts

Interior

Defi BF gauges
SECS ECU monitor w/ defi shift light
Sti mats
Knocklink

Misc

S600BES no. plate
Clarion multimedia head unit

I also have every single part needed to return the car to standard, except for brakes, wheels and intercooler, and a number of parts yet to be fitted including three port boost solenoid, all of which will come with the car.

If you are seriously interested, you can talk to me on bartlett_ed@hotmail.com. I strongly suggest viewing / experiencing the car.

I will NOT enter price negotiations on a public BBS, so please don't waste my time or yours.

Thanks

Ed

I've seen this car in actions and its ace

A good price as well, to mod a bugeye to this standard would cost well in excess of what edcase is asking.

Up you go but you will struggle to sell at this time of year and punters dont give a hoot to the list of quality mods, your best bet is to trade the car and strip the mods off and let the vultures on here pick over them.

Bugeyes are treated like the leper of Scoobies, by the dealers and the general public and 2nd hand values reflect this.
I've just traded mine for £14.6K and made in excess of £600 selling some of the mods from my MY01.So overall i'm happy but there is no way on earth i would have got £14K private.

Good luck will the sale.

Zippy, I agree with all your points and am seeing my dealer next week to discuss values etc. according to leaving on some key parts (prodrive brakes etc etc.)

Either way, I genuinely believe £19k is good value for this car in one piece including the plate so BTTT in the meantime
