Yamaha XT600 Tenere for sale/swap for cheap car or something interesting WHY?
I have a Yamaha XT600 Tenere F-Reg for sale / swap for a cheap car or something interesting WHY? I bought the bike last march/april and used it to get to work until I gave in to the cold weather and began using the train!! The bike has been stood (sheltered) for the past 4 months and has now got a flat battery. The bike has been faultless since I have owned it and although it has high miles (64,000) it had a lot of engine work done just before I bought it, as well as a new battery and new front brake. I bought the bike for £850 and am now looking at selling or swapping it for a cheap car.
As I said the bike has not been started for 4 months but last time I used it, it ran fine and has never given me any problems.
So if anyone is interested let me know, or if you would like to swap for a cheap car or something interesting WHY?
Cheers
p.s. It has tax till 04/04 and at least 6 months MOT. Bodywork is ok, all tyres have loads of tread and it has a micron exhaust. I was planning to keep it and get it sorted for the spring but a change of job and living arrangements means a sale is inevitable.

Ok, I have had an offer of a p/x for a car. Unless anybody would like to make a straight cash deal then I am gonna p/x the bike, however I would prefer cash as it gives me a bit more choice in which car I buy.
The bike cost me £850. As I said it hasn't been started for 3 months and has sat outside my house, but it never let me down all the times I used it.
Make me an offer and it's yours....nothing silly like 50p but anyhting reasonable and it's yours.
Cheers
