Default You love Scoobies? This is the car you must have...

OK, so a touch of over-the-top with the title, but for the year and mileage I genuinely believe it's just about the best out there!

So here goes: For one week only, my much loved and cherished Scooby is up for sale because I have bought a P1. I’ve owned it from new, it’s in showroom condition and I want it to go to a good home and receive the same tlc I’ve lavished on it. As a "mature" driver it’s always been treated properly and never raced or been on a track day.

I have pix if anyone wants them, or can upload them for me.

Details are below:

Registered: March 29th 1999 (T-reg)
Colour: Green
Style: Wagon
Owners: 1
Mileage: 62,900
MoT: to March 2005
Tax: to March 2004
History: Full SSH (75K service due end of March)
Tyres: 4 new Toyo Proxy TS-1 Tyres (400 miles)

Performance Extras
1) Link ECU management system installed and set up by Bob Rawle, including 3 port sensor, plus Knocklink and LambdaSensor gauges
2) Scoobysport stainless steel backbox
3) Graham Goode K&N induction kit
4) Graham Goode quickshift gear change
5) Eibach lowered race springs + geometry re-set and 4-wheel alignment by TSL
6) Goodridge stainless steel braided brake hoses
7) EBC grooved and drilled discs front and back, with EBC "green" pads (all fitted new September 2003)
8) Broquet Fuel Catalyst

Other Enhancements
1) Air con (dealer fitted)
2) Standard silver 5-spoke 16inch wheels uniquely re-furbished with a light reflecting metallic green effect
3) Subaru stainless steel rear treadplate (dealer fitted)
4) Subaru moulded rubber impact protection strips (dealer fitted)
5) Stainless steel "Impreza" treadplates (4)
6) Black metal mesh TSL-style fog light protectors
7) TSL Sti5 style front bumper "deep spoiler"
8) TSL mesh grill
9) Professionally fitted tinted windows all round (5 year guarantee)
10) Alloy pedals
11) Carbon effect cover for instrument cowel (fascia)
12) Infinity 605CS front speakers
13) Personalised number plates and original (legal) design
14) Subaru rubber mat set
15) All standard parts retained and included in sale
16) Spare set of OE alloys in good condition, with Toyos (3.5-4mm all round)

Price: £10,500

Pictures anyone? Or offers? It really doesn't get much better than this as a car with all the right upgrades.

Default thanks

Problem is that each pix is over 1 meg. Brother took the snaps - will have to see if he can save them at a lower resolution or whatever it is you do to pix so they are a) usable; b) don't take 5 hours to email!

Thanks for the offer(s) - any joy and I'll get back to you asap

(though Yorkmeister's email has floored me completely - £7.5K for his 99 wagon? Must be the bargain of the century. My dealer offered me more for mine and it's a couple of months older with more miles!)

Default Spot on!

Thanks Darren - be interesting to see if they generate any response.

For anyone who does take a peek, the first 4 pictures were taken by Trouser at TSL just after he'd worked his magic. But that was before I had the windows tinted, the alloys given that fantastic metallic green effect and the front fogs covered by metallic black STi-style covers (and they're the last two pictures with yours truly posing...!).

I know the price seems on the high side, but it is a top motor. Go on, you know you want it.....!!!!

Default anything?

Not even "insulting" offers? I'm insulted........! Only joking - just another way to btt.

My poor car goes to the strippers this weekend so if anyone does want a car that's got all the right bits and looks the biz, time to make an offer of some description, if only to save me all the hard work.

Dave - I'm interested but £10,500's way out of my price range.

If it's any consideration it will be going to a mature driver (32) who will love it and cherish it.

I can be contacted by email gavnnik@ntlworld.com

Nice car mate.
Up for a fellow green wagon owner (green is the fastest you know!)

Default faster indeed

Thanks Sulli.

And you're right - at least 2 seconds quicker to 60 in green...

Sadly, no takers so far. Tomorrow is strip down day and, apart from the cosmetic bits not easily removed, I'll be re-advertising next week around £9.250 ono for a mostly standard motor with air con and a few snazzy extras (but still in showroom condition and a top speed of at least 185mph...).

Ho hum.
