Default 1998 M3 Evo (Gauging Interest)

Due to unforseen financial circumstances, i may have to sell this car having only owned it for 6 weeks, but for now i just want to get an idea of the sort of price i can expect, and if there's any genuine interest?

It's a 1998 "R" plate, 36,600 miles with FBMWSH, 9 months Warranty (up to the value of the car), Tracker, BMW Alarm/immobiliser.

Car is the Evo so a 3.2l straight 6 (320bhp)
SMG - Sequential Gearbox (very rare)
Azure Blue (Slightly lighter then Imola)
Silver leather interior - totally unmarked.

When i say this car is Mint, i mean there is not one single dent or stone chip ANYWHERE! It's as new condition, totally clean genuine car.

I am the 4th owner.

Car also has Spare Motorsport 17" wheel, first aid kit, all docs/books and a few receipts, 6CD changer.

Also has an AC Schnitzer Carbon Strut Brace (£600 new).

Just had major C Serivce, so ALL Green lights are up on the service schedule.

If my insurance wasnt double what itd be on a 328 mate,id definitely be interested in this, its by far the best colour the m3 was ever produced in.Looks absolutely georgeous on the pics. Why are you after selling so quickly? Im sure that you wil have no probs getting rid anyway, a clean evo like that is v v hard to find. Good luck with the sale

Thanks for the reply - it's the nicest car i've ever had the joy of owning/sitting on my drive!

Basically i took out a loan on top of what i already had for my own car and i'm not really sure i can afford it..... i've booked a holiday etc so think i may need the extra money a month more then i first thought!

Cool

i just want to get an idea of the sort of price i can expect
You've had it for 6 weeks? Pretty much what you paid for it, I would have thought. Unless you got tucked up when you got it in which case you'll lose out. Or if you bought well, you'll make a bit on it.

Cheers

I reckon around £15k is about the right price at the moment.

Anyone got anything they'd want to P/X?

Up to around the £10k mark hopefully....

BUYER BEWARE!!!

As always be VERY careful about buying a car over the internet!

Through personal dealings with this person, IMHO he is a bullsh#tter.

Also had e-mails from other people dissatisfied with items they had bought from this person.

Car does look good from the pics, so did the one I bought from him!

I had 2 min test drive, had travelled 300 miles to buy the car, later read on another site he knew about all the problems, we only discovered them when we got it home.

Just don't want anybody else to suffer like we have, still forking out loads for the car 6 weeks later and still not sorted!!

Doesn't it sound strange that he is selling it after only 6 weeks? He told me his dad was lending him money towards his next car.

This guy is a 21 year old with an M3 EVO who lives with mummy and daddy!

All I am saying is if you are interested in the car, take a mechanic with you and get it fully checked before you spend any money, don't f#ck up like we did!!

I put it down to ill health at the time! (that's my excuse)

Nick, try and ignore this one like you do on the other posts!!

Here we go again!

Look mate, you came down to buy my car - liked what you saw, were impressed with the way it went.

Whatever problems you've had since are nothing to do with me, hence SOLD AS SEEN.

I've never known someone have so many moans about a 12 year old Nissan before, you knew it wasn't perfect, i got as many of the little niggles sorted as possible - but as explained on a car like that there will always be problems.

I don't know what you're talking about by other people buying stuff from me, if you could at least explain what i've apprently sold there would at least be some Substance behind your comments!

As far as i'm concerned what you have just said isn't actually allowed on these public forums?????

As said anyway, it's down to Personal circumstances as to why i can't keep the car, i may be keeping it yet anyway.

If anyone wants to bring mr BMW himself or any good mechanic down please feel free to do so.

Plus the car has a warranty on it with FBMWSH so it's not like a 12 year old Nissan Import is it!!!!!!!!

Can you please leave me alone now "P1555ED" as i can't be done with your pointless problem causing comments following me around the internet - GET A LIFE!
