Arrow MY99 UK Impreza Turbo ***Cheap***

Ok I'm now paying over £200 a month to insure a group 17 and group 16 cars so the scooby MUST get sold now! The car:

1999 T DBM 4-door Impreza Turbo (UK car)
60500 miles
FSSH
CD Player
Boost Gauge (a-pillar)
2 Previous owners
Usual Impreza spec (no air-con though)
4 Brand new tyres

The car is due a big service within the next 1000 miles and quotes for this are in the region of £6-750 but after that the car won't need another big service for 30k miles/2 years and given its got brand new boots on won't need tyres for a while either (unless you go daft!). As you can see from the pictures the car is in good condition inside and out but closer inspection reveals a few light dings and little bodywork blemishes. The car looks clean and smart as it is but if you budget an extra £500 you could get it taken back to near mint condition which, coupled with its excellent service history, would make an excellent purchase.

The first person to stump up £7500 (not a penny less) can have this car and you'll appreciate that is significantly less than its book value. Viewings and questions welcome.

Thanks,

Kenny

I've got 5000 pennies less, is that any good to you?

I can't believe nobody has even come to see this car at a price of just £7500 when most similarly specced cars are £9k? Trader guys are offering £7350 for it which they wouldn't do unless they are confident they could sell it on for at least £750-1k profit!! What a sad state of affairs - on that note I'm off to phone one such trader and cut my loses.

If you are going to trade this Saxo boy, I have spoken to a trader in the Southport region who seems to specialise in scoobies, he tends to get some pretty tasty stuff, 22b's, p1's etc. I have a similar spec car to you and he was talking around the £8k mark just to buy it off me.

If you want to contact me for his details, feel free.

I will have to search through the Autotrader to contact him but he may be worth a call.

I know he bought Stef Readers old green one, which to be fair, wasn't the best example I have seen!

Either mail me or you can contact me on 01772 603968 or 07734 227038.

Good luck,

Rich

If you can't sell this privately for £7.5k then what sad state of affairs is the 2nd hand car market in these days?
Have you got this advertised anywhere else or are you just depending on Scoobynet?
If you haven't already I'd try Pistonheads, findit, autotrader, local rag, other car bbs sites and you will sell it at that price.
Take a look at the Vectra sport owners club, lots of Vectra drivers who are looking to upgrade without breaking the bank if you know what I mean.

Its been in autotrader 3 times, local rag 4 times, ebay once for 10 days (1250 views), SN, other forums and by word of mouth. So far I've had about 10-15 call or email expressing interest and a few have arranged to view it. Not one person has turned up or called back This has depreciated like a brick this last year

Surely you'd be better off trading it in or putting it through an auction if your keen to get rid of it.
Should get near your asking price that way with no hassles.
Good luck anyway

Not quite yet but £7350 would - I left a message with a trader to that effect and await his response.

Are you being serious scoobyvirgin. Would you actually fly to Edinburgh hand over £7k and drive away? (remember it needs a big service soon). If so I will consider your offer over the next few days. I'll just not eat for 3 months to offset the other £500

I reckon he's calling your bluff but we'll see.
You can't possibly sell it for £7k can you, that's criminal.

Kenny, Deadly serious. I wouldn't offer it if I wasn't.

Just describe to me how bad these little dents are.

Unfortunatly I actually will sell it at that price very soon

The dents aren't bad really. The car look great as you walk up to its. Its just when you look down its flank to actually 'analyse' the condition of the bodywork that you properly notice them. It still turns the heads as scoobys do

Hi there,

I have been looking for a turbo for a while. Would be v interested, but have not sold my car yet. Would u b interested in a 2000W Impreza Sport - Mica blue 40k miles plus cash? If not, would still definitely b interested but probably would not be able to sell mine quick enough to get you the cash.

if not, good luck with the sale. Looks like a great car! BTTT for you!

Cheers.

Dom
