@@@ Newage STi 2.2-turn Quickrack for WRX @@@
This WILL fit a classic, but will need modifying. Speak to your mechanic first!!!
This is the genuine Subaru quickrack, as seen on Spec C and all new Jap STi's as well as the WR1.
Dramatically reduces steering input to the point that you need never move your hands on the wheel again! 2.2 turns lock to lock.
Amaze your passengers around fast flowing bends by seemingly not turning the steering at all!!! (It will amaze you too!)
This was bought new, and has done less than 5k miles on my car, which is now being sold.
It will cost roughly £100 to fit + 4 wheel laser alignment £80-100 depending who does it.
I want £350 to make it worth stripping off the car, otherwise it will sell with the car.

come on guys! surely there are some bugeye or blobeye owners who want this??! Its a massive improvement over standard, and given that you spend 99.9% of the time in the car steering, its a good investment

It should be the same as per the latest STi's (the 15:1 rather than the 13:1 thats for sale on here )
Definately worth getting the 13:1 rack though, it does improve things a little

aye, having never experienced the difference, I was worried what noticeable benefit it would make when I first bought it, but its instantly noticeable, even around town. On the twisties and the track it comes into its own though.

I'm shocked too. I've fitted one to my classic and it makes a huge difference. Had to move a standard Impreza last night and was shocked at all the arm twirling required! If anyone needs help fitting this to a classic let me know, as I know how to do it, and also have a mate who has the required machining skills to fit it (though this is a small amount of work). This would cost you £1200-1300 quid from Subaru and is one of the best mods you can make to your Impreza. (And no I am not connected with Edcase)
