I'm a very busy person, and selling a number of different parts, as well as having a life. You can see from several posts above IE 'no reply yet' and from the other threads that Trev has been talking to me about this for best part of a week, but I hadn't had the final confirmation regarding payment.

Hence the reason I btt'd it on here. Trev has now got back to me with payment details (which still came back to me before your last mail yesterday anyway), and so naturally it is being sold to him.

Mate i think that it was pretty poor of you to send me an email back saying that you didn't know if it would fit my car along with photos of it. You should have just said it was sold so your argument that you had been talking to someone else therefore wasn't valid because you were in the wrong. Whether you have other parts or not is not the issue because you should only post what you can cope with.
Lastly i think this is why a lot of people complain when they get mucked about like this. It is not 'the done thing' to do to someone.

Yes i sent you photos of it because it was still for sale at that point!!!

I've just stripped my car back to standard and sold over £4k of bits on here with no problems, I never have nor ever will fvck anyone around, its not in my nature. We never agreed anything.

I disagree since you had already sold it to trev pending payment but were willing to still offer it to me. I received the email on the same day i sent the one you displayed so obviously had you already sold it to trev pending payment before then!

Whatever but i think it was wrong. But all is fair in business so lets just call it a day since we each have a differing viewpoint.

Do you seriously expect people to only talk to one person at a time when selling things??? If I did that I would never sell anything!

People come, people ask questions, people either ask more questions and make an offer, or disappear into the ether. Almost every day I get people saying they'll take something and then never hearing back from them.

Trev said he wanted it, I didn't hear back, I put it up for sale again, trev mailed me again, I didn't hear any more, I put it up for sale again, you mailed me, I sent you photos, trev mailed me with confirmation of payment, then you mailed me saying would take it a few hours later.

So you tell me in your obviously infinite wisdom how I should have 'conducted' myself differently????

Was gonna take the pipe off to lag it, but then decided to maybe just buy an H&S one, lag it, then change it over.

Lagging just keeps the heat in, but on the d/pipe, it also quietens it down a little (i think)

You might not call having to justify yourself for no good reason trouble, mate, but I do. The last thing I have the time for right now is writing a string of messages explaining to you why I've done nothing wrong. And from your last message, I obviously still haven't done that, so I may as well not even bother trying. Its very simple, and in this thread in black and white, and if it doesn't make sense to you then its your problem not mine.

And you should apologise for making unfounded and totally wrong (ie slanderous) accusations on a public message board! At least, any decent person would, but there seem to be less and less of those on Scoobynet lately. Maybe I'm selling mine just at the right time.

Now wait a minute ed you are totally out of order. This is a public board which means people are allowed to have opinions. It is not like this is a court of law or anything so formal. You just want to continue this argument for no reason but to make yourself look better. I am not backing down but i am being the more mature one in saying lets just leave it because it is not important. Why you want to keep this going is strange. I still believe i was right and you believe you are right so basically neither have anything to gain/lose from this. You got your sale and i went and bought one anyway so whats the problem still??
