[QUOTE=SlowBoy]I have the above item currently on a MY00. I'm looking for £450 + std ECU from a MY99/00 in exchange for the PPP ECU.[/QUOT
You can get one of these from grade A for £250 + vat and keep your old ecu mate?

When purchased thru a dealer the pack includes ecu, back box, centre and intercooler hose. You can get a centre pipe from any aftermarket exhaust manufacturer, eg H&S (aka Scooby Exhausts), Scorpion, Magnex, etc, etc. Prob around £100. Intercooler piping will be available from Samco via one of their many resellers. No idea on cost, but I'd guess £50?
Power is incresed by around 20bhp. Ecu ups boost as detailed in SCD Simon's reply above. Most insurers won't penalise you too heavily due to power increase of <10%.

I have the Prodrive ECU, Magnex centre (straight through/no cat) and back box + samco turbo hoses (3 including the Y piece) All of the above were bought separately and it was a lot cheaper than buying PPP from the dealer.
The car never went on the rollers when standard but in it's current set up it has made 250 bhp/242 lbft
Simon
Forgot to mention the Magnex centre was £60
and the Samco hoses were £67.

Sorry mate, not that desperate to sell really. I'll happily wait for an offer closer to the asking price. If I don't sell it by the time my new mods go on then I can think of a few mates running std ECUs who will happily look after it for me till a better offer comes my way.
Thanks for checking in though.

Basically a PPP ECU *is* a Tek2 a Tek3 is mapped to your individual car (harder to sell on long term, as it is individually mapped, and no two cars are the same (even with the same mods) the upside is the licence for future remaps on Tek3)

my 2 penniworth
I sold my tek 2.5 outright for 450, and imho they seem to go for slightly more than th epp ecu's, as they tend to have a slightly more "agreesive" map.
The ppp's I've een tend to go for around 400 ish, and around 350 ish with another ecu in px.
As for standard ae801's etc. - 250 - they're avin a cold bath, I paid 100 for mine, which is all there really worth.
