Peugoet 309 GTI
For Sale - Peugeot 309 GTI (1.9)
1988 F Reg.
Red, although paintwork could do with a little TLC as the laquer is peeling in a couple of places.
170K miles (not long since cambelt replaced)
Taxed to about June with MOT to May.
Thatcham Cat 1 Alarm / Immobiliser.
2 new tyres recently
2 owners from new, although Fiancee's dad has been using recently (and still annoying saxo's when they try and overtake )
Looking for a good home for the first car I bought - would like to keep it really but space and fiancee say otherwise
£300-ish I'm looking for.
No pics as yet, but will post ASAP.

As far as I am aware, I doubt the car will need much to get it through it's next MOT - the only thing it needed last year was an anti-roll bar, and it's only done around 2-3K since - but it's had 2 new tyres on the front.
I know most people selling cars will say that it's in great condition and will fly through the MOT - but like I say, the paintwork needs some attention (the paint itself seems OK, but the peeling lacquer makes it look a bit unsightly.)

I had one of these, great cars.
TBH I'd MOT it and stick £100 on the price, it'll sell quicker then

probably not such a bad idea - but I'm quite bad at organising stuff like that, the scoob didn't get MOT'd until the day it was due to run out!
I don't mind sorting out stuff that needs fixed, I'm just bad at all the bloody paperwork that comes with car ownership.
I'm not putting it in the paper or autotradrer - got nothing but hassles from advertising companies last time wanting to list the car for me.

Stick it in Findit and the Pug forums, you'll sell it no probs if its tidy (bar the asforementioned paintwork).
Good luck
