I take it you bought the whole housing as well?
You only need the little black sensor bit that sits inside, which is around £80.
£50 is a good price to ask for one.

If its the early i.e pre 97 maf then you cant just buy the sensor, you have to buy the whole thing which is about £250 from subaru.
Second hand they go for about £80 - £100 ish
If it is the later one then trem is right you can buy just the sensor for about £80

Its the early Maf Pre97. I bought it from Grade A for over £100 a few months ago and never put it on the car as we found out it wasn't the maf. £85 inc postage sound fair to me.
