If your car is a standard MY00 you will have a AE802 ECU in it at the moment, you should gain anything upto 40bhp with the Tek2 but the difference in torque over the 802 will be the big gain.

The torque curve is a lot flater and arrives earlier than the standard map so the car pulls a lot stronger right through the revs, most notible in 3rd & 4th gears. It will totally transform your car.

Check out the power graphs on the link below,

http://www.ecutek.co.uk/products/tekecus/direct/

Cheers

You'll not need a remap but the Tek2 is set up mainly to take advantage of a decat exhaust, so as a minimum you should have a decat centre section.

is the tek 2 just an ecu you buy off the shelf and fit yourself just giving a smaller power upgrade instead of a custom upgrade, how easy are they to fit

hi, i replaced my "green" ae802 for a standard ae800 from a my99 turbo, this is more or less the same as a "tek 1".

it's given a good improvement especially re. no hesitation now.

the tek 2 will be even better than the ae800 in terms of power and torque.

cheers matt.

ps i've got a my00 with full decat.
