Default Canon digital SLR camera & bit's

I bought a 6 mega pixel Canon EOS300D digital SLR and accessories at the beginning of January and I now realise that a good quality compact camera would have suited me better.

Canon EOS300D 18-55 lens Kit £799
1gb Sandisk ULTRA compact flash card £269
Canon 55-200mmf4.5/5.6II USM lens £199
Canon 420EX Speedlight Flash £179
Tripod £40
Bag £15

Everything is as brand new and still has original boxes/instructions/CDs etc, warranty until Jan05, will supply original reciept in case of a claim.
For a review of the camera see here http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/canoneos300d/

£1,500 quids worth of very good camera equipment, yours for £1,000
Buyer must collect from Surrey.

Not off the top of my head, tripod & bag both bought from Jessops. I'll check when I get home though.

Would you be interested in a p/x for a Nikon Coolpix 5700 5 Mega Pix? It is as new (bought Feb 04) and produces superb results.

Yes it has had very good reviews, I really want a point & shoot high quality camera but having said that if I don't sell the 300D I will be taking photography lessons and using it to it's full advantage ie: aperture, AF points, ISO speeds etc
The shots I have taken are absolutely stunning and I am a complete amateur, god knows what you can do with it in the right hands.

Go for the Panny Lumix FZ10 - just as good results as the canon and only 350 quid price-matched from jessops! ;-) Plus you get 12X Optical zoom with image stabiliser
