VF Hybrid Turbo with pics
Hybrid VF22 turbo. Ported P20 housing suitable for 2" up-pipe, new compresssor wheel, standard actuator. Unsure of spec, but it was commissioned by Autosportif, and is most likely to be specced for 340hp, similar to an MD304 or MD254.
It's off the car, comes with all the water hard pipes, oil drain and can be yours for just £350 ono.
Located near Stansted, J8 M11 motorway.
Cheers

I've just taken cover off turbo, it actually has a VF22 core, and is fitted with a large compressor wheel, 75mm OD with 55mm inducer. I would expect this can flow upwards of 360hp, and not get full boost on a 2.0 engine till about 3800rpm.

I have run it on a 2.5, and I would say it's fine if you're looking for a power output off around 360hp based on the performance of my car. Unfortunately 12 hours before my booked rolling road run with just that setup, the car it was on was written off, hence sale.
There are better turbos about, but not for £350. For that money I think it's worth a try on a 2.0 or 2.5.

I ran up to 24psi peak on 2.5, but wouldn't recommend more than 20, it tapers nicely down to about 16 at top end, as standard actuator lets wategate blow open, I added a helper spring to try running higher, and would say 17psi by 7000rpm is about most you would want to run on this, but it would depend on your setup.
It hasn't been stripped beyond pics, hasn't been checked but this is reflected in price. Doesn't make an untoward noise. doesn't smoke or leak oil and there is no play in bearings which is about most you can hope for on a VF (the bearings cannot be stripped for inspection, sealed core). It was on my car till last week, before then it was on Jon Stokes' 2.2 Type R. Not sure of mileage but would estimate around 15,000 tops (1500 on mine).
