Got to sell my R1 and scooby having been fcuked over on house selling and now need to raise more funds due to prices going up. Both my scooby and bike are up for sale as I need cheaper transport/monthly running costs

The bike is a 2003 R1 in blue registered in August last year. Its done just under 7k (90% minimum of this has been motorway miles) and has obviously had the 6k service and new rear tyre. Front is still ok. Its been garaged since purchase.
Its got a Akropovich carbon end can, black/tinted high screen, pillion seat cover, datatool alarm and datatagged. Its in excellent condition and the price is £5,500. Still got rest of warranty and breakdown cover (although not sure breakdown is transferable)
Pics I can post tonight once home from work if there is any interest. Serious buyers only as test pilots will not be welcome.
Any reply by email I can not check until I get home so best pm me on here.
Cheers
Bob

Best time to sell the bike I guess Bob, gl with the sale, hope you can get something else for the summer anyhow. Get an old classic bruiser like a Zthou/GSthou etc, something you can service yourself, I'm only £80 a year fully comp m8 and still get over 40 mpg.
Pity about your Scoob as well, still miss mine, dont miss the costs though

Cheers guys - its sold already!!!
to a mate of a mate at work. Has been looking for my bike for a while apparently and said full asking price no problem so taking it round for him to see tonight just to confirm all ok ![Embarrassment](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/redface.gif)
Thinking of old gsxr 600 for replacement just for commuting on or even back to a Honda 400 sports as they are dirt cheap and bullet proof engines and can handle the miles

Oh I know all about zzr 600's, it was the first 'proper' bike I ever went on as a pillion after having been on a 250 Superdream
Scared the living **** out of me ![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Looked at the CBR 600's today but just don't like the look of them which is a pain as I like Honda bullet proof engines and the fact they are cheap.
Looking increasingly like a '99 ish GSXR 600 now as I have been looking at them all afternoon on bike trader. Always liked the race look of them and can get one for £3k or just under with only 7-9k on the clock which is what I want![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Gonna miss the amazing power of the R1 though but doing it for sensible reasons which just isn't me - must be getting old
