Default BMW M3 EVOLUTION, 3.2 6 speed, N reg- £7750

I have owned this superb car for the last 18 months and it has been an absolute joy to own and drive. It is a rare 4 door with stunning BMW individual oxblood leather. This car drives as you would expect from an M3 Evo - supercar power and speed combined with everyday practicality

This M3 has a fully documented history with all receipts, invoices, original manuals and BMW service sheets.

This is a cherished car that has not been track raced or abused. This sale is extremely reluctant due to a new business venture.

Massive specification includes:

3201cc Motorsport engine, Standard 321bhp

Estoril Blue (colour exclusive to M3 evo's)

4 door

6 speed Manual gearbox

Full oxblood red Nappa Leather (BMW individual)

Front and rear armrests

Full electric pack

Digital Dual climate control with aircon

Driver & passenger airbags

Rear headrests

Full BMW Toolkit/Torch

Tracker system & cat1 alarm/immobiliser - full closure including sunroof

Tarox Red Dot Fast Road Brake Pads

Recent Michelin Pilot Sport Tyres All Round (245's on rear and 225's on front)

On-board computer

Fully documented BMWSH, Tax & Mot

The car is in immaculate condition. The only points to note are

- The car has a few MINOR stone chips. These really are minor and are only noticeable upon close inspection.

- The drivers seat has slight wear. The interior is otherwise pristine with no marks, burns or tears. The interior reflects the cherished nature of this car

- the front two alloys could do with refurbishing as they have some bubbling on them. This can be done for around £40 per wheel.

- the clutch has a noisy release bearing. The clutch has been examined by a reputable BMW specialist who advised me that there is nothing whatsover wrong with the clutch, and the slight noise is not uncommon on M3 evos. The car drives perfectly.

Other than the above points, the car is pristine.

The car is priced for a quick hassle free sale at £7750. For a car like this, it's a true bargain.

I have pics but dont know how to put them up. They are on my ebay ad, so do a search for M3 evolution and you'll soon be able to find mine!

The clutch problem is common with this particular model, its the hydraulic pipe and no its not acceptable, had you taken the car to a BMW dealer they would have given you proper fix, my previous M3 Coupe was a GT2 featured in Total BMW magazine (May Edition) in Imola red, car is said to have 320 BHP "which is absolutely rubbish" I had it on the rollers and it acheived only 280BHP, its just to heavy a car for racing against the likes of scoobies with the same horse power or evos or Skylines, though it is a nice car! it isnt fast, unless you strip it down for racing, as the power to weight ratio of the lardy boy M3, kills its power, ive had 8 M3s to date, oneof which I imported into the UK from a private collection in Bavaria...........dont get me wrong great car!...its just not a street racer......and the BMW looks are more Mr Photocopier Salesman....eats scoobies mmmmmmmmm I think NOT.......thats why I sold My M3 for a P1 which I personally Like as its more fun, and has more road presence........the M3 cant cut it..at a 100K plus Miles the Vanos control will be rattling on the M3 and I wouldnt fork out 2K???

Nick, even though your post will probably be moderated, I'll comment nonetheless

Subarus are great cars, I'm on my 2nd now.

However, if at the time I bought my last one (3 months ago) and this M3 was up for sale I'd have seriously consdered it. I love my Subaru - loved my prevoius one even more, but over the years I've realised a true drivers car it isn't. Its too easy, too flattering to drive. Great family car though.

300+ BHP through the rear wheels and 4 doors - yes please

If you want to drive fast, go subaru / EVO. If you really want to appreciate how to drive well, do it in a high power RWD car with performance orientated handling.

Horses for courses and all that

Like ive said I had 8 M3s to date, and no I have to disagree on rear wheel.........sos and all that, and ive raced loads of m3s. at donnington, combe, oulton etc etc.........im really not into no handling of corners!...poor handling in the wet etc etc....the list is endless with M3s.......your right of course it is a good family car/exec....oops and no the M3 doesnt have 300BHP.....theyd like you to think it has, but seriously it hasnt....the 300 BHP is a test bed figure that wasnt achieved on the road, the engine was in a test rig when they got those figures.oh and did u know the pistons in the straight six block are graphite coated?...and they were developed by Mclaren for the M3 EVO?.......yes I used to race em!.so i know a thing or two....crap in the corners..........fantastic if all roads are straight lines.......but even then without uprated shocks they arnt to good either.....so good drivers car??? mmmmmmmmmmmm NOT.....then I think my scoobs interior is a pile of ****e......and the build quality is comical really....but its a good laugh for the moment
