Only covered 3,000 miles on the previous owners car and has never been fitted to mine. ***This is a front entry turbo***
Some general information about the unit from Turbo Dynamics:
MD270 - High flow TB34 ‘7 Blade’ Compressor wheel, C.N.C. re-profiled compressor housing, roller bearing core assembly, left hand thread shaft and wheel. P18 A/R turbine housing with ported inlet throat. Uprated Actuator – Optional. Recommended maximum boost level is 22-24 P.S.I. 350-380 BHP is possible from this unit with correct fuelling and engine management modifications. 353BHP achieved with this unit at 1.3 bar boost.
These cost over £1300 to buy brand new. Offers above £500 please.

Oh heck - a technical question! I'd much prefer to sell a set of indicators as I know what I'm talking about then. ![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
It's my understanding from more knowledgeable people than myself that it should bolt straight on to the early classics but I could probably find out for certain from the previous owner if necessary.
Should just clarify, I've quoted the standard spec sheet from TD for the 270 as I'm assuming mine is standard. If necessary I may be able to clarify this with the previous owner as well.

should be a direct bolt on for any classic with a front entry manifold, ie. versions 3 to 6 sti.
Not entirely sure but I suspect it may fit the new shape too. I seem to recall someone saying the vf34 and 35 fit the older shapes, so why not the other way round too?
P18 can be swapped for P20 to my knowledge.

Email notification has gone bonkers! ![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
I'll post up a picture of the turbo later tonight so it can be confirmed whether it's a 90 degree or front entry version. I have to say I don't have the knowledge to distinguish between the two and was told by the person I bought if from that it was a 90 degree entry unit, hence why I'd advertised it as such.
I'm also making further enquiries with TD about this point.
