Beautifully constructed alloy sumpguard specifically designed for Impreza by Subaru. Supplied by Prodrive and used on a road car for three months only. Cost £550 + vat, £300 ono, delivery to anywhere in UK included. e-mail me.

Sorry to bore the rest of you with this but "Lucan" doesn't appear to have an e-mail address. This sumpguard is not the kind of item that most road-going Imprezas would require Lucan, but any rally-car will and that's why I've got two people very keen to buy it now. It is a quality item !

I am actually the one buying the sumpguard. It is for a road car, I thought it would offer some decent protection for the car, I live in an area where speed humps are breeding and I thought if I did one day have an incident it could be a good preventative measure. I am happy to hear oherwise/reasons against as I am not aware of any.

Did'nt I see that the police STI in Hull had a sump guard so that it could skim over the sleeping policemen at 70 MPH.
The copper was a ex rally driver and had been involved with some of the modifacations.
